Intro to Modern Calligraphy
July 26 | 12:30p - 2:30p
We can't wait to have Shannon Courter, a Los Angeles-based art director, watercolor artist, and calligrapher for a brand new workshop! Shannon will walk you through modern calligraphy from the very first stroke. No experience, no intimidation, just good vibes and great pens. You'll learn to use a real pointed dip pen and ink with hands-on guidance in a small, cozy class where you'll actually get the attention you need to get it. By the end of the afternoon, you'll be lettering with confidence and wondering why you didn't start sooner. You'll take home: two nibs, a pot of ink, and a practice packet so the fun doesn't stop when class does. Whether you're dreaming up DIY wedding details, want to level up your snail mail, or just need a creative outlet that isn't another screen, this is your Sunday well spent. It also makes a seriously good gift for the friend who has everything but never enough experiences.
Sign up: Space is limited, please sign up here.
Price & Payment: $75 per person. Please Paypal or Venmo Shannon (Courter Inch LLC) directly to secure your spot.
Intro to Watercolor
August 9 | 12:30p - 2:30p
LA moves fast, but Sundays don't have to. Join artist Shannon for a beginner watercolor workshop - an easygoing afternoon of creativity, color, and calm that feels like a reset for the week ahead. This is a small, welcoming space where you'll learn the craft: how to control water, mix colors, and build confidence on paper, step by step. No experience needed, no supplies to track down. Everything is provided, and Shannon will guide you through each step. You'll leave with finished pieces you actually want to hang on your wall. You'll take home: a full set of paints, brushes, and a techniques packet to keep painting long after Sunday ends. If painting has always felt out of reach, this is where that changes.
